John grew up on the Jersey Shore and was raised in Spring Lake, NJ. He attended St. Catherine's grammar school and Manasquan High School graduating in June of 1977. He attended college at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, where he studied photojournalism. John also attended Brookdale Community College where he met his wife. He has worked 30 plus different jobs in his life, many times multiple at one time. He lives in Neptune City, NJ with his wife of 37 years, has two lovely daughters - Christine of Oceanport, NJ and Jennifer who lives in Asbury Park, NJ - and has two rescue dogs, Gracie and Jesse. John is a cancer survivor.
